La Plata Decaf Whole Bean Coffee is a smooth Colombian decaf coffee from Huila, produced by smallholder farmers and naturally decaffeinated using a sugarcane process at origin. Expect a sweet, full-bodied cup with comforting notes of milk chocolate and malt, perfect for espresso or filter brewing.

La Plata Decaf Whole Bean Coffee is a beautifully balanced Colombian decaf coffee from La Plata, Huila, grown by smallholder farmers at altitudes between 1200–2000 MASL. Produced from a blend of Castillo, Caturra, and Colombia varieties, this washed coffee delivers a rich, sweet cup while maintaining the complexity that Colombian coffees are known for.

In the cup, La Plata offers a smooth, full body with comforting notes of milk chocolate and malt, making it a perfect choice for both espresso and filter brewing methods. It’s a decaf that doesn’t compromise on flavour, delivering depth and sweetness even without caffeine.

La Plata is decaffeinated at origin using a natural sugarcane process. The green beans are soaked in water together with a naturally derived solvent from sugarcane that gently removes caffeine. Afterwards, the beans are steamed at low pressure to eliminate any remaining traces of the solvent while preserving the coffee’s natural flavour characteristics.

The result is a clean, flavourful Colombian decaf coffee bean that maintains the sweetness, body, and balance you would expect from high-quality specialty coffee.
