Tried & Tested: Pai Cleanser

The Hopsackers have been trialling a range of products in the store, to bring you their top picks and honest recommendations. Last month, Anna and Katie tried out Pai Camellia & Rose Cleanser.

Why you picked this product:  

I wanted to try it as I'd heard such great things about this cleanser. I have been using oils to cleanse my face in the past few months and wanted to try something different.

How long you used it for (1 month) and how frequently:

One month, every evening to wash face and/or remove makeup.

Benefits (for you):

I love that you get a muslin cloth with this cleanser. It made such a difference to how I cleansed my face. I had never really given the cloth much thought, but have noticed how much of a deeper clean you get with it. I also love that this has a pump, so you just squirt out one pump and you know exactly how much to use. It felt lovely on my skin. My skin felt nourished as soon as I applied it. I have quite sensitive skin but this was so nice and gentle and didn't aggravate it at all.

Why you picked this product:

I wanted to try a new natural cleanser that could also remove my make-up at the end of the day and still suit my sensitive skin.

How long you used it for and how frequently:

I used it for one month in the evenings to remove my make-up and cleanse my skin.

Benefits:

I found this cleanser brilliant as a make-up remover. It removed everything including waterproof eye make-up and gave a really deep clean. I also loved the addition of the Muslin cloth and found it to be a lovely addition for extra exfoliation. It turned cleansing my face into a lovely relaxing ritual. It has a lovely luxurious consistency and is very gentle, however, I found it a little too heavy for my oily acne prone skin so I think it would be better suited to someone with sensitive or normal to dry skin.
